Yes, you have to be 16 years old by the day of the race.
Yes and this is a great way to get the most enjoyment out of the event. Teams must be a minimum of four and you enter via the team section online. You appoint a Team Captain at outset who decides to either pre-pay for a team and then send email invites to the other team members or the Team Captain sets the team up and pays for their entry fee before sending out email invites to other team members.
Yes. An individual searches for the team they wish to join when entering and simply applies to join that team.
Please ensure you choose the correct size t-shirt as you will not be able to swap your t-shirt after the race if the one you have chosen does not fit.
Yes and there is no charge. They will not be able to access all areas of the course but there will be plenty for them to see.
No. Entry fees are non refundable and non transferable. At the discretion of the organisers you may be able to transfer to a future event in the event of injury or exceptional circumstances. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org

No. You will receive an acknowledgement email on successful online entry. We supply race numbers and timing chips at registration on the day and you collect your t-shirt and goody bag post race. We will post updates via email and Facebook page

We have participants of all ages and fitness levels entering our events and the enjoyment comes from taking part. If you have any particular concerns about your health we recommend you seek the advice of a medical professional or professional fitness adviser. We would recommend that you have done regular fitness activity prior to the event as the events are both physical as well as endurance based. The 20K run is an extreme run most likely in cold and wet conditions so we advise you only enter this distance if your are confident you can achieve the distance. All 20km runners must be able to complete the course within 3 hours and have completed their first lap within 1hr 30mins to be able to continue.
The 5km course is half of the 10km one lap course. The 20km course is simply two laps of the 10km course.
No. There are water obstacles but these should not exceed 4FT in depth (depending on rain fall). If you are not confident in water you can miss out the obstacle without a penalty.
There will always be fellow runners or marshals to help but you can avoid any obstacles at your discretion.
We recommend warm lightweight running clothing. You will get wet and muddy so you don’t want to be weighed down by lots of layers or heavy clothing. A base-layer and/or running top should be fine with shorts or run leggings. Wear running shoes with a good grip and make sure they are on tight or even taped so you don’t lose them in the mud! A clean/warm set of clothing to change into after the race is recommended. If the conditions are extreme it is important that you do not let your core body temperature drop after the race, adrenalin is great but a nice warm dry jumper/coat is better.

There will be water and a cereal bar/energy bar in each goody bag and both hot and cold food is available before, during and after the race.
There is a limited amount of bag storage, so either pack light or leave everything in your car and leave your keys at the key drop/bag station or with a friend. If travelling as a team please store kit together to make things easier for everyone. Quest Events Ltd cannot take responsibility for loss or damage of belongings left at the key drop/bag station.
Yes. We have trained first aiders at the start/finish and on the course. Marshals will assist any injured runners and if required we can collect you and bring you back to the event village if you are unable to continue. If you have a pre existing medical condition that you are concerned about we advise that you contact a medical professional for advice prior to entering.
Yes. We will send an email and post on our Facebook page. the time of each wave one week before the event.
The first wave will be 10.00am and registration opens from 8.00am. We will send an email and post on our Facebook page. the time of each wave one week before the event. You won’t get bored if you arrive too early as there will be food and drink available in the event village together with a DJ and roaming photographers.
No. The car park is approximately 500 metres from the race village.
Yes. There will be a warm up 10 minutes prior to each wave by a fitness industry professional.
